Thanks for the follow-upwards posting.
I've seen dizzy things when users would phone call and say "my GP account is locked out" or "I can't login, my pwd is rejected, simply I'm 100% certain about beingness correct".. and in the end it turns out users had their CAPS lock on and didn't notice, because the LED was so tiny on the keyboard.. (especially on newer laptops).

The users claim that they are using the right passwords but they are not able to get into GP. I reset their passwords and try to login every bit the user myself to cheque if it works and strangely GP doesn't allow the login. I got the same error even with the new reset countersign. Currently we have some customized integrations to bring in Accounting and Billing data into GP, nix related to logins like Fastpath or any other Power Tools.

We use RDS Remote App solution for Application delivery - MS Remote App. We are not using the deject based offering for workspot. Nosotros are actually hosting it at our on premise DC. Nosotros do not utilise Azure.

How do the user access GP ? local clients or Citrix / TS environment ?

It happens to some 4-5 users simply. This week I deleted all of their user ids and recreated them and observing if that fails equally well. One of them failed today and I did the same affair - deleted and recreated!

Do you lot reset the pwd on the aforementioned system where you exam it afterwards ?
If not, could it exist that your ODBC connection doesn't accept the aforementioned instance name on the different computers ? this is a fairly mutual issue where someone setup the GP customer by using a different SQL server proper noun (i.e. using IP Address instead of canonical name), and since GP uses that example name to encrypt the password in the database, the pwd does non match when connecting from another reckoner.
If it's on the same computer, then there is something else that plays in the game, but information technology could be an issue with the Firewall or network.
Is it a unmarried user that faces the problem or did information technology happen to several ?
